Ingredients
- 8 medium Potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 6 Tbsp Butter
- 1/2 C Milk
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 1 cup Carrots, chopped
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 C frozen Peas
- 1/2 C frozen Corn
- 3/4 – 1 C Beef Broth
- 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Garlic Powder, to taste
Directions
- Place potatoes in a pot, cover with water, salt and boil until tender.
- Melt 2 Tbsp butter in a pan.
- Add onions and saute until slightly translucent.
- Add carrots and saute about 5 minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink.
- Add peas, corn, worcestershire, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Add beef broth and continue cooking on low heat for about 10-15 minutes. You may need to add more broth to keep meat moist.
- Drain potatoes and mash with 4 Tbsp butter and milk.
- Place beef mixture in bottom of 9×13 baking dish.
- Cover with mashed potatoes
- Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
- If potatoes aren’t browned, place under broiler for a few minute.
