From time to time I overhear things that make me smile or scratch my head in wonder. Today was one of those days.

I was walking in a long hallway in the radiology department on my way to a meeting. In this long boring hallway there are lots of photographs, mostly landscape and nature. There was an older couple walking behind me. As they passed each photo, I heard her comment things like “Look at the birds in this one. Do you see this deer? There’s butterflies in this one. Look! There are more birds over here.”

The gentleman responded with “I don’t come here for the wildlife. I come here for the x-rays!”
