Frustration and Apology?

After a morning of frustrating me with the little things and me scolding him for the same three things over and over, Wally and I were making lunch together. I smiled at him and said, “Wally, I’m sorry you are frustrating me so much this morning.” (Yes, I know that isn’t a real apology, but it was the best I could do at the moment.)

He looked up at me with that sweet little smile and said, “It’s ok, Mommy. You don’t have to apologize for that.”
