In October 2025, my husband and I did a 7 day road trip to celebrate our 25 year anniversary. When we were planning, we looked at several exciting domestic and international options. We decided to state in the states so I chose 4 states from my list and asked ChatGPT to create a road trip for us. We decided to remove 2 of the states to save on some driving. We chose Vermont and Maine. It is October so we were really looking forward to the change of the colors. Vermont was absolutely gorgeous, especially from the highway overlooks as we drove through the state. I fell in love with the covered bridges in Maine.
We stayed in Saratoga Springs NY, Williston VT, Portland ME, Wakefield MA, and 2 nights in Niagara Falls, Canada. Rick and I hadn’t been on more than an overnight without the kids for 20 years. We made some great memories.
